Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was there to attend a hearing at the magistrate’s court into the Avant Garde floating armoury matter.
Speaking further, he said no country would work under the influence of foreign interference.
He said parliament would be convened in accordance with the provisions in the constitution, and not at the instigation of foreign countries.
