Recently while Namal Kumara had revealed details of a plot to assassinate the President and former Defence Secretary, he released further information on September 28 about a person named Thushara Peiris who is said to be residing in France.
He also released a taped telephone conversation to the media that he and Thushara had.
This telephone conversation revealed details of a plot to attack a meeting attended by minister Rishad Bathiudeen.
Accordingly, State Enterprise Deputy Minister H.M.M. Haris had lodged a complaint with the CID on October 01, requesting an investigation be launched regarding this issue.
