(Mirror) - Sri Lankan cricketer Thilan Samaraweera has decided to resign from all formats of the game, according to internal sources of the SLC.
Samaraweera has handed over his resignation letter to SLC secretary Nishantha Ranatunga this afternoon (05).
Samaraweera has scored 5462 runs in 81 Tests and has bagged 862 runs in 53 ODIs.
The 36 year old has also displayed his skills as an offspinner.
