(Srilankamirror) – The youngest brother of notorious drug dealer Samantha Kumara alias ‘Wele Suda’ has been caught. The Walana anti vice squad nabbed him yesterday (Sept. 14) at Hilda Flats in Dehiwala, along with 20 packets of heroin and a woman, aged 20 years.
The suspect, G.W. Asoka Kumara, alias Indika, has told police he needs around 20 heroin packets a day.
During daytime, he had frequented Badowita area and had gone to the Hilda Flats to spend the night.
The woman arrested along with him, is not her wife, but a mother of two.
Two of the four brothers of Wele Suda, who has fled the country, are in remand custody over drug-related offences.
The Colombo high court recently confiscated properties of Wele Suda, his wife and sister, worth around Rs. 185 million.
